We are a general dental practice on Pritchatts Road, just outside the campus of the University of Birmingham.
Our experienced dentists and nursing staff wish to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Our aim is to achieve the highest standard of dental health for you and your family in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The practice has its origins as part of the University of Birmingham's Health Centre. As the practice grew, it began to see members of the general public in addition to university staff and students. To accomodate this growth, we sought larger premises. Thus the practice has shifted about 200 metres away from the old Dental Centre, towards Harborne.
Of course, if you live on the campus, we remain conveniently located, allowing you to access high quality dental care with minimum disturbance to your schedule.

Does the practice offer 24 hr Emergency Service?
Yes. Outside of working hours (and upto 9 pm), the number of the emergency dental services may be obtained by phoning into our Practice on 0121 687 8882. An emergency in dental care is normally considered as toothache or dental pain, swelling, prolonged bleeding after extraction, problem with a front tooth affecting appearance or other conditions for which the patient is unable to wait for the next routine appointment.
Does the practice accept NHS patients?
Yes.
Does the practice offer any finance schemes?
Yes. Practice Plan is a great new way to pay for your dental care. This plan costs just £10.25 per month. For this competitive premium you will get * Unlimited consultations / advice / x-rays * Scaling and polishing twice a year * 20% discount* off all treatments not covered by the plan eg. all fillings, root fillings, crowns * World wide emergency and dental accident cover The great advantage with the plan is that the low premium of £10.25 per month is irrespective of the amount of past dental treatment you have had. However, you will need to be dentally fit at the time of enrolment.
Does the practice offer Denplan packages?
Yes. Denplan is an excellent way of budgeting for dental care. This is a monthly plan where the entire cost of maintaining your dental health by the University Dental Centre is covered. The only extra charges are making and materials charges for providing crowns, dentures, and bridges.
